For the Mastodon app on #android , has anyone else noticed that typing is a little buggy? Double-spacing to insert a period causes it to delete the last word before the period, and put the cursor before the period. A lot of times, swipe typing doesn't work great, either.

If you're on android, tusky (free) works better. Fedilab ($) is best as you can follow hashtags, create bookmarks, mute words, etc. If using fedilab - join the beta as it kills the refresh bug.
The default Mastodon app is pretty bad

@SarahEncrypted I'm now testing how things work in Tusky. So far, it seems to do a better job with swipe typing and with the double-space period. Thanks for the tip. I'll give this one a shot for a few days.
