2022 gift jam making complete! 540 ounces of strawberry jam (8 batches), 4 hours, one amazing teacher (my mom). Even after seven years of making jam I’m still learning new tricks. Happy holidays everyone!

Spending most of the day doing #Thanksgiving meal prep. Cubed up and dried out #sourdough I made yesterday for stuffing, made pie dough (all-butter crust all the way), giblet stock…and roasted tomatoes to use for pasta later in the week to clean out the fridge a bit to make space.

Making pies (pumpkin and apple), plus NYT lemon cranberry bars, is likely on the docket after my folks arrive.

I love spending the day making tasty food for folks I love. One of my very fav parts of the holidays.

I was on the verge of really gearing up for getting back into the #highered #hesm #socialmedia #digitalmarketing discussion space after the HighEdWeb conference in October, hoping between here (and possibly LinkedIn) that those discussions and awesome bits of learning can still happen.

I'm director of digital marketing at William & Mary in Virginia.
